Just as Jesus came to serve, so must we serve with our lives. That’s a Great Question. I recommend this sweet, goodness-filled little book to any believer. The Case for Jesus. In a somewhat tongue-in-cheek manner, he even recommends maaney up golf as a way to humble yourself!

Good book It was a good book on humility “in my humble opinion” It was a very fast read also the only think I did not like is it seems like every chapter he was recommending a new book. The humioity half of it was a dagger at times, other times it was a sword, other times a big club. I would have liked a bit more direct exegesis.

Therein is the root of pride: As you can see in my rating of 5 stars I truly enjoyed this book as I hope many more will. It is truly a byproduct of becoming more like Jesus. And yet, without God’s grace and discipline, everything we are fights against this precious quality. May 13, Linette Mhaney rated it it was amazing.
So, for a simple dose of character building, for a provocation to submit oneself afresh to God again, this little gem by CJ Mahaney should certainly repay the short investment of time taken to read it.
